Two from Samuel Beckett

Billie Whitelaw’s performance of Samuel Beckett’s Not I has to be one of the most remarkable things I’ve ever seen – or heard. See what you think.
Beginning with even more body parts, Beckett’s Film features Buster Keaton.

I find it with the older generation of witerrs that a frugal amount of words are used to express a grand thought. Samuel Beckett doesn’t provide much to hold onto in this quote. He works awkwardly, those who speak speak rather, and the reason for that is perhaps this toward his end point, a self-anointed truth which is people are predisposed to increasing the decibel level and shouting in arguments. If that were the case, nothing would be hashed out and polite society would be no more. A big thought deserves a word count of equal scope.
