This past week marked the 100th birthday of Pulitzer and Emmy-winning composer Norman Dello Joio, one of America’s great classical voices. He passed away in 2008, but the reminder of his centennial the other day led me to listen again to two of his finest works. I thought it might be good to share them with you.
